LHD 1965 Porsche 912 coupe. Very early model, featuring a 3-dial dash, non-adjustable front suspension turrets and 15” Fuchs alloys. Delivered new to a Doctor in sunny Southern California, September of ‘65. This car has been standing for a number of years and is a project of sorts. We’ve undertaken the immediate recommissioning concerns, replacing the dynamo, brake hoses, master cylinder and all four calipers. She now runs and drives pretty well. The car was fitted with a tuned VW type 1 motor in the US, many years ago. But this spirits her along in a similar fashion to a stock 912. Reversion back to standard 912 spec would be very straight forward. No mods were made to the car itself, so it would be a basic nut and bolt exercise. Generally presentable but scruffy body and paintwork in places. Underneath there are some localised rust holes which will need attending to, but it’s not a horror story. She’s strong where it really counts and the front suspension pan has already been replaced. A pretty, early and fun car to drive. Could be used as is, or we can restore this car back to showroom condition for you. Sold complete with a copy of the original Kardex factory build sheet.
