She left the Stuttgart factory on 11/ 02/ 1966 with the engine she still wears today. February 1966, a Gulf Blue 912 leaves Stuttgart with its engine number recorded on its build sheet. In May she is delivered new to a Californian dealer. Five years with her first owner, then a second Californian owner in 1971 who takes her to Colorado. From 1985 to 2007, another Colorado owner covers 48, 000 km. Then Arizona for five years. In 2012 she crosses the Atlantic and settles in Valais. From 2013 the invoices tell the rest: tyres, brakes, carburettors, ignition, fuel pump, odometer.
